Expanded aerial footage of the OH-58D Kiowa Warriors from Task Force Saber, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade take off, fly, shoot rockets and .50 cal machine gun, land, get fuel, etc. near Jalalabad, Afghanistan. The OH-58D is the Army’s scout and reconnaissance aircraft, providing close combat support and security for ground forces. It carries a crew of two, and a variety of armament, to include 2.75″ rockets, a .50 cal machine gun, or hellfire rockets.
